As we鈥檙e all well aware , NHL players aren鈥檛 going to compete in the Olympics next month in Pyeongchang. The billionaires at the negotiating tables couldn鈥檛 reach an agreement, and as a result hockey fans around the globe will care much less about Olympic hockey this year.

The rosters in Pyeongchang will look wildly different than in Olympic years鈥?past. Instead, there are聽names on Team Canada that you鈥檝e never even heard of. There聽are names that you have heard before, only because they鈥檝e been spit out the bottom of the NHL and are now toiling away in Europe.

Today we decided to put together a hypothetical Team Canada; that is to say, what would team Canada look like if NHL players were permitted to participate?

The hypothetical team is obviously stacked, and it鈥檚 a shame for many players whose Olympic windows are closing Authentic David Pastrnak Jersey , as well as those whose windows have just opened. The world will not get a chance to see Connor McDavid represent his country on an international level, and that in itself is a travesty.

As always with Team Canada, there were some tough cuts to make, but with the roster I鈥檝e compiled here, I鈥檓 confident Canada would be heading for its third straight Olympic Gold.

The list of players I left off the squad could probably compete for Gold, no doubt. Among them: Jonathan Toews Kevin Hayes Jersey , Tyler Seguin, Nathan MacKinnon, Shea Weber, Mark Stone. This list goes on.

(I can already hear half of you shouting at me, wondering how I could leave Toews off the list. Shut up, he鈥檚 overrated. Deal with it.)

Here鈥檚 the roster Authentic Dougie Hamilton Jersey , starting with the goaltending and working our way up through the forward lines:

Steelers linebacker T.J. Watt had a good rookie season last year, but he’s working hard — and eating hard — at improving in his second year.

Watt’s trainer told ESPN that Watt eats 8,000 calories a day and drinks two gallons of water a day to get him through the grueling workouts he’s been doing back home in Wisconsin, and his only focus in the offseason has been getting better.

“I’ve got a boring lifestyle. I’m not about any of that [other] stuff,” Watt said. “I work out, I go home Cam Atkinson Jersey Kids , I grill burgers and hang out by myself or hang out with a few of the guys on the team. I’m not here for anything else but football.”

The Steelers hope Watt’s big appetite fuels a big season.
