The rotor consists of a core and a squirrel cage. There is no direct connection between the stator and the rotor. The stator winding After being energized, a rotating magnetic field is generated, and the rotating magnetic field induces an induced current in the rotor cage, and the two interact to generate an electromagnetic force. It has the advantages of simple structure and low cost of the Washer Motor, and the running performance is also good, but the starting performance is slightly poor and the speed cannot be adjusted. Single speed motors are mainly used on pulsator washing machines.

    Two-speed motor: The principle is the same as that of single-speed motor. The difference is the stator of this type of motor. There are two sets of different windings for different speeds. According to the winding structure, it can be divided into separate winding and shared winding. Two types.

    (1) Split winding two-speed motor: The stator has two sets of completely independent windings of different pole numbers, such as 2 poles / 6 poles, 2 poles / 16 poles, 4 poles / 6 poles, and the like. It is known from the characteristics of the induction motor that the rotor cage will automatically form the same number of poles as the rotating magnetic field of the stator. Therefore, different washer motor speeds can be obtained by powering the stator windings of different pole numbers to adapt to different requirements.

    (2) Shared winding two-speed motor: This was invented by Emerson Motors. It is a further improvement of the split-winding two-speed motor. It is characterized by changing the connection method so that the same stator winding can be shared by two different pole numbers.

    Two-speed motors are currently mainly used for pulsator washing machines, and some are used for drum washing machines, but they cannot be used for drum washing machines.
