  • IAF: 2013 – A Success!

International AD Festival 2013, one of the biggest and meanest ad festivals in Mumbai had a great spell this year. So what was IAF about this year? It was about the stars and the traditions, the lights and the cameras. And the winners and the achievers. Apart from being a flagship project for the Rotaract Club of Bombay Film City and featuring the exclusive screening of award winning advertisements from Cannes Lions Film Festival 2012. It also saw a speaker session from top Advertising professional from the industry namely Mrs. Niyati Modi and Mr. Trushant Pillicha.  AD-MAD 2013 also received a great response in terms of entries and participants. This creative AD making competition every years helps youngsters, working professional and other ad making enthusiasts receive a platform through which they can showcase doing what they love. This year we saw some really good entries and exciting prospects for the industry. Looking at the kind of impact RCBF is creating on youngsters and on nurturing their talent they are looking to create a similar platform for writers and journalists in the future.

Tag along was another online PR campaign run to help the masses to get aware of the different advertising trends in terms of their origin and the importance they play in stabilizing a brands portfolio. IAF rolled out at SNDT colleges auditorium saw a packed house with a 174 participants (and 3 outstation students) the 3 hour long event showcased the rise and of some very talented youngsters who will for sure be making a launch into the stardom through our very outlayed platform. Kudos to the organizing team, and for all the others involved for pulling of a great festival.

For now. And for all the coming years that IAF will live on for. Good luck!
